Leading
computer forensic services firm joins the eDiscovery Solutions Group
International Consortium to work with eDSG and other eDSG Consortium
members to provide digital forensic services to the legal, risk and
Information Technology departments of the Global 2000 throughout the
US market.
Dallas,
Texas
(August 3, 2010) - eDiscovery Solutions Group (eDSG), an emerging
leader in providing comprehensive eDiscovery and Governance, Risk
and Compliance (GRC) consulting services and technology worldwide,
announced today that Digital
Discovery, one of the nation’s leading digital forensic
services firms, has joined the eDSG
Consortium and will work with eDSG and other eDSG Consortium
members to provide advanced computer forensics and related services
to the legal, risk and Information Technology departments of the
Global 2000 throughout the US market.
Under the terms of the partnership, Digital Discovery will provide
computer forensic services to eDSG and other members of the eDSG
Consortium in those markets that Digital Discovery serves. In
addition, eDSG will assist Digital Discovery with marketing the
eDiscovery and GRC services, technology and consulting from the
various members of the eDSG consortium to the current Digital
Discovery client base and to Global 2000 clients within cities that
Digital Discovery currently serves.
"eDSG and the members of the eDSG Consortium
are very pleased to welcome Digital Discovery to our
consortium," stated Charles Skamser, President and CEO of
eDiscovery Solutions Group. "With its experience, technical
expertise and high level of professionalism in computer forensic
services, Digital Discovery provides eDSG and our consortium members
with the ability to dramatically expand our collection and
preservation practices within our Global 2000 marketplace,"
continued Mr. Skamser.
"Digital Discovery is very pleased to partner with eDSG and
join the eDSG consortium," stated Steve Davis, Director of
Business Development with Digital Discovery. "Digital Discovery
engages our clients very early in the eDiscovery lifecycle, and we
have developed a very trusted relationship with many of them.
As we begin to see our corporate clients explore the option to move
eDiscovery and GRC operations in-house behind the firewall, it is a
natural extension of this trusted relationship for them to ask us
for recommendations and assistance. Our partnership with eDSG
will enable Digital Discovery to fulfill these demands and expand
our offerings with the enterprise class technology and consulting
that our clients demand," continued Mr. Davis.
With a growing consortium of best-in-class partners worldwide,
eDiscovery Solutions Group can deliver strategic consulting,
services and technology to support the left side of the Electronic
Discovery Reference Model (EDRM). More information about the EDRM
can be found at: http://edrm.net/.
More specific to eDSG’s support for the left side of the EDRM
model, or the Information Management node of the EDRM, eDSG is
positioning itself to support the requirements of the newly defined
Information Management Reference Model (IMRF) which aims to offer
guidance to Legal, IT, Records Management, Governance, Risk and
Compliance (GRC), line-of-business leaders and other business
stakeholders within organizations. More information about the IMRF
